OUR classes are Fun & Affordable

Lolly Jar Circus runs both weekly classes and outreach sessions

Weekly classes are for young people aged up to the age of 26 and run in line with State school terms. By attending regular classes, participants can build up skills and confidence as well as make lasting friendships. Trainers experienced in circus or gymnastics teach tumbling, balancing, stilt-walking, hula hooping, spinning plates and juggling. Each activity and piece of equipment can be modified to allow participants to progress at their own pace. There is always something for everyone.

Lolly Jar Circus is now a registered NDIS service provider under Capacity Building - Innovative Community Participation - Increased Social and Community Participation.

Our fees are as follows:

  1. NDIS funding rate $25 per class (GST exempt)

  2. Full rate (no NDIS and no concession) $17.50 per class (GST exempt)

  3. Concession rate $12.50 per class (GST exempt)

Thanks to a generous grant from Carclew, in 2019 Lolly Jar Circus will be offering performance-focused classes every Friday during school terms, from 4 to 6 pm at the Windsor Gardens Community Hall on Danby Avenue Windsor Gardens, just off Sudholz Road.

These classes will be offered as a second class to any interested participant who already attends one of our classes at any venue.

There will be no audition or skill requirements. The idea is to spend all year building up skills ready for a grand performance at the Latvian Hall at 4 Clark St Wayville on Saturday 23 November 2019.

The classes will cost $10 each. Carclew’s funding goes towards payment of trainer fees, skill masterclasses with young performers, costuming and all the other things that go towards making a professional performance.

This will be bigger than Ben-Hur so keep the date free!

Bringing the joy of circus to you

Lolly Jar Circus outreach classes bring the fun to you. They are unique, inclusive and affordable.

Our enthusiastic trainers will engage your students in many fun actvities in a one-off class or a series of classes that builds up skills and benefits.

Ideal for OSCH or Vacation Care, Lolly Jar Circus is suitable for any age or mixture of ages. It is safe and fun.

Looking for unique and exciting birthday entertainment?  Invite Lolly Jar Circus. We bring a parachute, hula hoops, spinning plates, juggling balls, flower sticks and more. Healthy fun the children will love, at a reasonable price.

“Your trainers were fantastic! The kids had a great time with them and it really helped make the party special. Thank you so much.”

Whilst our main mission is to work with young people, we also love working with adults in their usual meeting places.

A juggling workshop is a great way to break down barriers and build cameraderie. Persist through the early frustration and you will be rewarded with a real sense of achievement.  Laugh all the way.

Community performances provide an invaluable opportunity for our participants to show their abilities.

We have performed at the Disability and Information Resource Centre Expo, the opening of Inclusive Directions Flinders Therapy House, various Bunnings Family Days, the KYD-X Disability Expos 2016, 2017 and 2018, the Christmas Party for Special Children 2017 and 2018 and the Celebrate on the Square event for International Day of People with Disability 2017 and 2018.
